Real Madrid have officially announced the signing of Yan Diomande, bringing an end to one of the summer's longest transfer sagas.
After reaching a personal agreement with the player, the Spanish club spent several days negotiating with RB Leipzig before finalizing the transfer. Under the agreement, the German side will receive a guaranteed €125 million, with the total package potentially rising to €140 million through performance-related bonuses.
The Ivory Coast international has signed a seven-year contract with Real Madrid and will remain at the club until June 30, 2033.
Diomande arrives as one of the club's marquee signings ahead of the new season and is expected to strengthen José Mourinho's attacking options as Real Madrid continue reshaping the squad.
