JJ Gabriel's departure from Manchester United has sparked significant interest across European football, with several top clubs now competing for the 16-year-old English talent. The youngster has decided to leave the Manchester club, prompting talks with a number of interested teams, including Real Madrid.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid are in active discussions with Gabriel and his representatives over a potential move. The club sees the teenager as a major opportunity and has presented its plans to him, with Gabriel currently considering his options as he looks to leave Manchester United.
Real Madrid are determined to complete the signing and add another highly rated prospect to their academy, which has continued to develop young talent at Valdebebas.
Manchester United, meanwhile, are making efforts to prevent Gabriel's departure and are looking to FIFA regulations for a possible solution. Romano reports that the club is awaiting a final decision on the legality of the transfer, with Gabriel's age creating significant restrictions on his ability to leave the United Kingdom.
