Real Madrid are beginning to feel the effects of not fully addressing their squad needs during the summer transfer window, according to Marca.
The only major acquisition Los Blancos made was Kylian Mbappé, who arrived on a free transfer after his contract with PSG expired. However, beyond that, Madrid's summer signings have raised questions.
The club also secured Brazilian talent Endrick, but the young forward is not yet prepared to be a regular starter for the team. His inexperience contrasts sharply with the impact that veteran Joselu provided off the bench last season.
In midfield, Real Madrid did not make a move to replace Toni Kroos, who retired in the summer, leaving a significant gap in experience and leadership.
Additionally, the club opted not to sign a central defender to replace Nacho, who departed for Saudi Arabia, a decision that now appears to have left the squad short of depth at the back.
