Audi, a major sponsor of Real Madrid since 2003, will end its relationship with the club on July 1. The contract expires on June 30, and the two parties have decided not to renew it after failing to reach an economic agreement in negotiations held at the end of last year between the leaders of Madrid and the German brand. With the new Bernabéu on the horizon, the white club's cache will grow even more, and Audi will reduce its presence in football teams to focus solely on Bayern Munich. Thus, Audi, which was in the second level of Madrid's commercial agreements, will no longer be a sponsor after 19 years.

The white club has already found a replacement for Audi and has reached an agreement with BMW, which will become one of the club's main sponsors and will be in charge of supplying the first-team players with cars. Real Madrid intends to reveal the new sponsor on Monday.
