According to a report from Radio MARCA, Real Madrid have selected Xabi Alonso to become their coach from the 2024-25 campaign. Current coach Carlo Ancelotti is expected to leave the club next summer, and Alonso would be his replacement.

The former Real Madrid midfielder has been doing a fantastic job at Bayer Leverkusen in his first professional job in elite football, and he seems to be a brilliant coach. Although he has not yet won anything and it will not be easy for him to do so with Leverkusen, he has demonstrated enough potential to be viewed as a strong possibility to take over as Real Madrid's coach in the near future.
