The pitch at the Di Stéfano stadium is in poor condition, as seen during Castilla's first home game of the season against Ibiza on August 31. The problem stems from a fungal infection that has significantly damaged the field. Real Madrid has already started urgent treatments to restore the pitch, which means it cannot be used during the recovery period.
This closure affects Castilla and the Juvenil A teams, with Castilla's upcoming home match against Betis Deportivo on September 15 moved to field 7 at Valdebebas. They hope to return to Di Stéfano for their next home game on September 28. Additionally, Real Madrid Femenino's Champions League match against Sporting de Portugal, scheduled for September 26, is also set to be played at Di Stéfano. Meanwhile, the Under-19s will play their Youth League match against Stuttgart on field 11 on September 17.
