Marca reports today that Real Madrid and River Plate are close to reaching an agreement over the sale of Franco Mastantuono, although the deal is not finalized yet.
The Whites have 'captured and seduced' the midfielder, who has a €45m release clause in his contract.
Unlike other South American talents, Mastantuono can join Real Madrid this summer despite not being 18 years old yet. That's because he has an Italian passport as well. However, the plan is to let him stay at River Plate for a while to continue his development.
The Argentina U20 international has already made 18 first-team appearances for River Plate.
