Real Madrid completed a perfect week at home. After defeating Barcelona in the EuroLeague on Friday, the Whites followed it up with another strong performance on Sunday, beating Valencia Basket 94–79 at the Movistar Arena in Liga Endesa action.
The game did not start easily for Madrid, as Valencia controlled the opening quarter. However, a superb second period from the hosts completely changed the momentum. Real Madrid responded with intensity and quality, leveling the score at 43–43 by halftime.
After the break, Scariolo’s side finished the comeback with a dominant collective display. Madrid imposed their rhythm, outplayed their closest rivals, and secured a convincing win that further consolidates their position at the top of the Liga Endesa standings.
Mario Hezonja led the way with 23 points and a 23 efficiency rating. He was well supported by Gabriel Deck (11 points, 18 efficiency), Sergio Llull (14 points, 15 efficiency), and Kramer (14 points, 14 efficiency) in a complete team performance.
