Nico Paz has been informed that Real Madrid will exercise the buy-back option included in the agreement signed with Como during the summer of 2024. The club considers the Argentine’s development in Serie A sufficient to justify his return.
The original deal included a clause allowing Real Madrid to re-sign the player, a standard mechanism in such transfers. However, the terms of the return could be adjusted given the level he has shown this season.
The deadline to activate the clause is May 30, but the decision has already been made at Valdebebas. The club has begun the necessary steps to ensure all parties are aware of the situation.
Como and their coach Cesc Fàbregas have also been informed, with the player’s return to Madrid now expected in the coming weeks.
