Real Madrid is reportedly considering the possibility of offloading both Ferland Mendy and Fran García, according to Cadena SER's Francisco Jose Delgado. This move could materialize if the club decides to bring back Miguel Gutiérrez, the Girona left-back for whom Madrid holds an €8 million buy-back clause.
In addition to this potential return, Real Madrid is eyeing Alphonso Davies as their future first-choice left-back for next season. The Canadian star would bolster the team’s defense, potentially pushing Mendy and García out of the squad.
Mendy’s contract with Real Madrid is set to expire next summer, making his departure more likely. Meanwhile, García has a contract lasting until 2027, which means a sale could generate significant funds for the club.
