Journalist Alberto Pereiro has revealed on his personal X account that Real Madrid already has a fairly clear roadmap for the players whose contracts expire in 2026, even if no formal steps have been taken yet.
The biggest question mark surrounds David Alaba. His future will largely depend on the role Xabi Alonso envisions for him in the coming season.
In contrast, the outlook for Dani Carvajal and Antonio Rüdiger appears more straightforward. For Carvajal, the plan is to keep him at the club beyond 2026, as long as he remains in top physical condition. As for Rüdiger, the club is already working on a one-year extension to secure his stay for an additional season. In both cases, contract renewals are firmly on the table.
