There is nothing between Real Madrid and Mbappé, at least at this moment. This is what the White Club wanted to make clear through an official statement. The information that some media outlets reported about a recent rapprochement is “false.”
The club maintains the position it has been maintaining for months: the player has a contract, and it must be respected, at least until January 1, when the right to negotiate would be opened. But, for now, there are no approaches or meetings.
Mbappé's contract expires on June 30, 2024, and, barring a renewal (which he rejected in a letter last summer), he would be free to go to any club.
