Real Madrid wasted no time in extending Dani Carvajal's contract. Just three hours after releasing the medical report on his triple injury, the club, led by Florentino Pérez, announced the defender’s renewal for another season. The contract extension had been in the works for months and was already planned, as the club confirmed.
Previously contracted until 2025, Carvajal’s new deal now runs through 2026.
Despite facing a challenging recovery ahead, the player can now proceed with greater certainty. The club has quickly formalized the renewal for Carvajal, who, like other players over thirty, is on a year-by-year extension. As confirmed by the club this Sunday, Carvajal’s contract is now officially extended until June 2026.
