Juanmi Latasa will remain on loan at Getafe for another season. The azulón club and Real Madrid have come to an agreement to extend the young player's loan. The south Madrid club had the opportunity to buy the striker, but ultimately both parties agreed to keep the loan going.
Latasa scored two goals in 21 games last season with Getafe. With Quique he did not have many opportunities, while with Bordalás he had more weight, scoring that goal against Osasuna at the Coliseum that left Getafe with a foot and a half in the First Division.
Latasa's good end to the season allowed Santi Denia to include him in the pre-list for the Under-21 European Championship with the Spanish team. He played a few minutes in the friendly against Mexico, but ultimately did not make the final list.
He left Real Madrid Castilla two seasons ago following a fantastic campaign in which he scored 13 goals in 30 games in the First Federation. On the other hand, he made his first team debut with Ancelotti against Cadiz in a league game.
