Real Madrid are reportedly considering a January move to bring back Rafa Marín, according to SPORT. Marín, currently playing for Napoli, is a former Real Madrid academy player.

With Los Blancos facing a series of defensive injuries, the club is seeking reinforcements, and Marín, who has found limited first-team opportunities under Napoli coach Antonio Conte, could be a cost-effective solution.

After an impressive loan spell at Alavés, Marín made a permanent switch to Napoli last summer for a €12 million fee, which could increase to €22 million based on performance-related bonuses.

Real Madrid are eyeing a low-cost loan deal for Marín until the end of the season. However, despite his past experience with the club, securing his return might prove challenging, as other clubs are also expected to express interest. Marín is said to be eager for a move back to Madrid, a place he still considers home.
