Real Madrid face a demanding month of March, with five crucial matches scheduled before the international break. Álvaro Arbeloa’s side will play three La Liga fixtures and two Champions League clashes over the next three weeks in what could define a key stretch of the season.
The run begins with a trip to Celta Vigo next Friday. Five days later, on Wednesday the 11th, the Champions League round of 16 tie against Manchester City kicks off with the first leg at the Bernabéu.
Before traveling to the Etihad Stadium for the return leg on Tuesday the 17th, Madrid will host Elche on Saturday the 14th. The month then concludes with another major showdown at the Bernabéu, as Atlético Madrid visit for the second league derby of the season on Sunday, March 22nd.
A decisive three-week stretch now awaits, with domestic and European ambitions on the line.
