Real Madrid continue their determined search for a centre-back who can strengthen their defence for the next decade, and one promising candidate is Dean Huijsen. At just 19 years old, the young centre-back is impressing the football world with his performances in the Premier League for Bournemouth. This season, he has scored two goals in 19 appearances. Huijsen joined the English side last summer from Juventus in a deal worth €18 million, following a loan spell at AS Roma for the final six months of last season.
According to the Spanish newspaper AS, "Huijsen is on Real Madrid's radar to bolster their defence. The Spanish centre-back is poised to become one of the best in the world and is drawing interest from several top clubs across Europe." However, Real Madrid are not the only ones pursuing the talented defender, as Bayern Munich and Chelsea are also monitoring his situation, as reported by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano. Additionally, Huijsen has a release clause in his Bournemouth contract that will become active this summer.
