In the basketball pavilion at Real Madrid City, the first teams of the men's and women's football and basketball teams gathered for the club's Christmas lunch. Amancio Amaro, the club's honorary president, and a number of members of the Board of Directors also attended the event, which was presided over by Florentino Pérez.

During the lunch, the club president Florentino Perez had a talk: "I would like to wish you and all your families a great 2023. I hope you stay healthy, that you are free from injuries and that together we can continue to share great successes. I always say that it is a privilege to be part of Real Madrid, but it is also an enormous responsibility."
