Real Madrid extended their winning streak in the Liga Endesa to ten games after securing a 93–95 victory away to Bàsquet Girona in the 24th round of the competition.
The contest remained closely fought from the opening minutes, although Real Madrid managed to build a small advantage by halftime. After the break, the home side reduced the gap and kept the pressure on, but Madrid stayed composed in the decisive moments and held on in the final quarter to claim their third victory of the week.
Mario Hezonja led the scoring effort with 19 points and a performance rating of 15. Andrés Feliz also delivered an excellent display with 17 points and a rating of 24, while Lyles contributed 16 points and a rating of 20 in an important win for the visitors.
