Real Madrid continue to reshape their basketball roster ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Following the departure of Trey Lyles, the club is prioritizing the signing of a new power forward, with Mikael Jantunen emerging as the leading candidate.
According to Eurohoops, Real Madrid are in advanced talks to sign the 26-year-old Finnish international, who recently became available after leaving Fenerbahçe.
Jantunen had also been linked with Valencia Basket, but he now appears set to reinforce Pedro Martínez's squad for next season.
The former Paris Basketball forward is regarded as one of the best shooting big men currently available on the market. During his only season with Fenerbahçe under Sarunas Jasikevicius, he averaged 6.4 points and 4 rebounds in 36 appearances.
