The Santiago Bernabéu hosted the thirteenth edition of the Corazón Classic Match, bringing together Real Madrid Legends and Inter Legends for a charity event held under the motto "A match with the soul of childhood."
All proceeds from the match will support the Real Madrid Foundation's socio-sports projects, which currently help around 400,000 people in more than 100 countries through 1,400 socio-educational initiatives worldwide.
Inter Legends opened the scoring through Hernanes, but Real Madrid Legends responded in the second half. Pepe equalized before David Barral completed the comeback to secure a 2-1 victory for the home side.
The Real Madrid Legends team was managed by José Antonio Camacho and Manolo Castro. The match also featured debut appearances in the competition for Aganzo, Albano Bizzarri, Christian Karembeu, Claude Makelele and Pedro León.
The event once again combined football and solidarity, with former stars returning to the Bernabéu in support of the Foundation's charitable work.
