Considered practically a "galactic" signing, Asencio is set to earn €6.2 million next season, with his salary progressively increasing, potentially reaching €9 million in the final year of his contract.

The renewal also includes a €50 million buyout clause. Although Madrid had the option to negotiate further, they opted to finalize the contract swiftly after reaching an agreement with the player and his new agent. Asencio first joined the first team during Real Madrid's preseason tour in the United States, where he made his debut against Chelsea. His strong showing immediately caught the coaching staff's attention. Just 94 days later, he stepped onto the Bernabéu pitch following Militao's injury, seizing the opportunity to solidify his place in the squad. Thirty matches later, he earned his well-deserved contract renewal.

Real Madrid prioritized Asencio’s contract renewal as his consistent on-field performances made him indispensable in Carlo Ancelotti's tactical plans. Though his contract was initially set to run until June 2026, with a €50 million buyout clause, the club recognized the need for a pay raise to reflect his contributions—and acted accordingly.

Asencio’s market value has skyrocketed over the course of this season. Starting at just €300,000 with Castilla, his debut with the first team saw his valuation increase to €7 million by December, according to Transfermarkt. Now, after 30 competitive matches and a call-up to the Spanish national team, his market value has reached €30 million, positioning him as one of the most sought-after center-backs in the coming years.
