Real Madrid paid tribute at Anfield by laying a wreath at the memorial dedicated to Diogo Jota, the Liverpool forward who tragically passed away alongside his brother, André Silva, in a car accident on July 3.
Xabi Alonso, Trent Alexander-Arnold (who was Jota’s teammate at Liverpool), Huijsen, and Emilio Butragueño, the club’s Director of Institutional Relations, represented Real Madrid during the tribute held a day before the match between the two teams.
