Ramón Álvarez de Mon and AS journalist Joaquín Maroto discussed the ongoing changes at Real Madrid, focusing primarily on the future of the managerial position. According to Maroto, the club’s plan remains unchanged, with Jürgen Klopp identified as the preferred candidate.
Maroto also ruled out several other options currently linked to the role. "Pochettino is with the United States and there's a World Cup. Deschamps doesn't have the most suitable profile. Allegri is under contract. The Mourinho rumor is coming more from the Portuguese manager himself than from Real Madrid," he explained.
In addition, Maroto indicated that Toni Kroos could soon take on a role within the club’s sporting structure. The board’s intention, he noted, is to unite Klopp and Kroos as part of a broader project to reshape the squad.
