Real Madrid have reportedly reached an agreement in principle with Enzo Fernández over personal terms, according to journalist Nicolò Schira. The proposed deal would keep the Argentine midfielder at the club until 2032.

Schira also reports that Real Madrid are prepared to submit a significant offer for the Chelsea midfielder. Fernández is said to be keen on a move to the Santiago Bernabéu, with both player and club aligned on the possibility of a transfer.

However, the main obstacle remains Chelsea's valuation. The Premier League club reportedly values Fernández at around €120 million, a figure that Real Madrid are unwilling to match. As a result, the Spanish club intends to negotiate a lower transfer fee before advancing the deal.

MARCA has also identified Fernández as Real Madrid's preferred option to strengthen the midfield. While there appears to be optimism regarding the player's willingness to join, talks with Chelsea are expected to be challenging.

The London club is expected to take a firm stance in negotiations, particularly given reports that Real Madrid were prepared to offer €150 million for Julián Álvarez earlier in the transfer window. Reaching an agreement will likely depend on whether the two clubs can find common ground on the final transfer fee.
