Aurelien Tchouameni has agreed to join Real Madrid. According to RMC Sport, the Spanish club and Monaco have agreed on a €80 million transfer fee.

Tchouameni has agreed to a five-year contract with Los Blancos.

The defensive midfielder is regarded as one of Europe's most promising prospects, and he will finally provide Casemiro with some relief as Real Madrid's sole pivot.

Tchouameni has eight caps for France, scoring one goal in the process, and is expected to start alongside Paul Pogba in the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.

Since joining Monaco from Bordeaux in the summer of 2020, the 22-year-old has made 95 first-team appearances for the southern French club, scoring eight goals and assisting seven times.
