Real Madrid are on the verge of completing another major signing this summer, with Yan Diomandé now closing in on a move to the Santiago Bernabéu.
Following weeks of speculation surrounding a potential move for Michael Olise, reports now suggest the club had already shifted its focus to the RB Leipzig winger. According to Ben Jacobs and Alex Crook, Real Madrid have reached an agreement with the Bundesliga side for Diomandé's transfer.
The 19-year-old is expected to become one of the marquee additions to José Mourinho's squad, strengthening the club's attacking options ahead of the new season.
Diomandé had attracted strong interest from Paris Saint-Germain and several leading Premier League clubs, but the Ivorian winger has reportedly chosen Real Madrid as his preferred destination.
If the deal is finalized, Florentino Pérez will secure one of Europe's most highly rated young attacking talents, adding another exciting prospect to the club's long-term project.
