Real Madrid defeated Atlético Madrid to secure a place in the Spanish Super Cup final, which will be played on Saturday in Castellón at 7:00 PM.
The team built a decisive three-goal advantage in the first half, an early lead that proved enough despite Luany’s goal after the break. Athenea opened the scoring in the 5th minute, followed by goals from Weir in the 15th and Linda Caicedo in the 20th. The match also marked Misa’s 200th appearance for Real Madrid.
Their opponent in the final will be decided in the other semifinal, which takes place this Wednesday between Barcelona and Athletic Club.
