Borussia Dortmund have made an official approach to sign Diego Aguado, submitting a €6 million offer for the 18-year-old Real Madrid defender, according to Marca. Aguado, who made his first-team debut under Carlo Ancelotti this season, is also expected to be part of the squad traveling to the United States for the upcoming Club World Cup.

The young Spaniard has drawn attention for his versatility, comfortably playing as both a full-back and a central defender. Real Madrid, aware of his potential, recently extended his contract until 2029 and included a substantial release clause to secure his long-term future.

Dortmund's proposal was submitted via Aguado’s agent, though Real Madrid are not expected to make a decision until after the Club World Cup. Meanwhile, a club from Italy’s Serie A has also reached out to express interest in the player’s situation.

For now, Los Blancos remain fully focused on the Club World Cup and Aguado’s contribution to the team. His future will be assessed once the tournament concludes.
