Real Madrid has made a touching gesture toward one of its academy talents. The player is Guille López, a Juvenil C striker who sadly suffered a serious knee injury (cruciate ligament rupture) at the end of September, ruling him out for the rest of the season. Months of recovery now await one of Valdebebas’s most promising youngsters.
The club acted immediately. A phone call from Real Madrid lifted his spirits—not only offering full support but also informing him that they would renew his contract. This extension gives Guille the peace of mind to face his long rehabilitation knowing the club’s trust in his potential remains unchanged. He had signed his first professional deal just six months ago, in March, but Madrid wanted to reinforce their commitment with this thoughtful gesture. The new contract is already signed.
