Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring for Ancelotti's men in the 20th minute with a superb right-footed strike from outside the box. Celta responded with a goal from Williot in the 52nd minute to level the score. However, Real Madrid quickly regained control, with Luka Modric providing a beautiful assist for Vinicius Jr., who calmly finished in a one-on-one with goalkeeper Vicente Guaita to seal the win in the 66th minute.
