According to Josep Pedrerol of El Chiringuito, Real Madrid have warned Kylian Mbappe that they will not make any moves to sign him if he extends his contract at PSG beyond 2024.
Real Madrid have made it quite clear that Mbappe must forget about them if he signs a contract extension.
Los Blancos declined to become involved in any transfer controversy this summer since Florentino Perez did not approve any bid for the player.
Due to his refusal to sign a contract extension, PSG nonetheless, put him on the market and banned him from the team.
Last week, Mbappe decided to give up a significant portion of his PSG loyalty bonus, worth close to €100 million, in order to continue playing for the team. His reinstatement into the team was swiftly accepted by the club as a sign of good faith.
The 24-year-old has not yet extended his contract, despite sources saying he is seriously considering it. PSG will keep pressing him to sign a new deal in the meanwhile.
