Real Madrid is creating a sensation in Austria. Tickets for the upcoming friendly against WSG Tirol, scheduled for August 12 at Innsbruck's Tivoli Stadium, sold out in just 40 minutes. The venue, which holds approximately 16,000 spectators, had never experienced such rapid ticket sales, according to the local club.

Ticket sales began on Tuesday, August 5 at 12:00 PM, and within the hour, every seat was taken. Prices ranged from €65 for the back rows to €250 in the VIP section. The match is the only preseason fixture for Xabi Alonso’s side ahead of the new league campaign.

The sold-out crowd marks a historic moment for WSG Tirol. Last season, the club averaged just 2,375 spectators per match. Their highest turnout was 14,250, the only time they came close to filling the stadium. Most games saw just 15% of the seats occupied. But this time, thanks to the "Real Madrid effect," the stadium reached capacity in record time.

This friendly will serve as Real Madrid’s lone preseason test, following their recent Club World Cup campaign. The team returned to training on Monday at Valdebebas and will not play another match until the La Liga opener on August 19 against Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabéu.
