Real Madrid's preseason is offering the first indications of the shirt numbers the club's new signings could wear during the 2026-27 season.

Although the club has yet to confirm the squad numbers officially, several options have emerged based on the players' positions within the dressing room.

Marc Cucurella is currently the leading candidate to inherit the number 2 shirt. However, recent reports have also linked the Spain international with number 24, which is currently assigned to Dean Huijsen.

Elsewhere, Ibrahima Konaté is expected to take the number 4 jersey, Bernardo Silva could wear number 19, and Denzel Dumfries is tipped to receive number 20.

Endrick, meanwhile, is expected to continue wearing the number 9 shirt he previously used at Real Madrid, despite speculation over a possible change during the summer.

As is customary, Real Madrid will officially announce the squad numbers once the transfer window closes and the first-team squad is finalized.
