Éder Militão is in the final stages of his recovery and is closing in on a return to action. After ending last season prematurely and undergoing further surgery, the Brazilian has missed the World Cup, preseason and the start of La Liga.
The center-back has now returned to ball work, although he will still need several more matches before he is ready to compete again. According to Diario AS, Real Madrid expect their number 3 to return after the next international break.
This season includes an unusually long three-week break in club football from the end of September to the beginning of October. That period should give Militão enough time to complete his recovery and regain his fitness.
As a result, the Brazilian is expected to be available for Real Madrid’s first match after the break, against Villarreal on October 11.
