Real Madrid set to sign Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen in 2025
Source: Marca

Real Madrid are reportedly set to sign Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen. According to Marca, two agreements have already been reached between Madrid, Leverkusen, and Wirtz. The first agreement between the player and his club, ensures that the German playmaker will not be leaving them this summer. The second agreement involves personal terms with Real Madrid for a move in 2025.

Wirtz scored 18 goals and notched 20 assists across 49 games in all competitions, as Xabi Alonso's team won the Bundesliga title for the first time in the club's history.

Signing the German would be a phenomenal move by Real Madrid, although he wouldn’t come cheap. Reports suggest that a deal with Leverkusen could be worth around €150m, but the cost is unlikely to be a concern for Los Blancos.
