Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez received Madrid Regional Minister of Health Fátima Matute at Real Madrid City to sign a general protocol for joint actions aimed at improving the care and quality of life of people living with rare diseases.
The agreement will place particular focus on dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (DEB), commonly known as “butterfly skin.”
Following the signing in the Board Room, Florentino Pérez and Matute highlighted the importance of strengthening institutional cooperation to address the needs of people and families affected by these complex conditions.
Through the agreement, the Real Madrid Foundation and the Community of Madrid will work together on initiatives designed to promote the well-being of people affected by rare diseases while contributing to the strengthening of healthcare services across the region.
