Real Madrid have announced the signing of Olivier Sarr, a 27-year-old French center standing 7 feet tall who arrives to address an urgent need in the squad.
The club face the start of the season with only one available center, Walter Tavares, while Usman Garuba continues his lengthy recovery from a complete Achilles tendon rupture suffered during the Final Four.
Sarr has signed a two-year contract with Real Madrid, keeping him at the club until 2028. The French center arrives in Madrid after spending his entire professional career in the United States.
