Since joining Bayern in 2019, he has made 134 appearances - scoring six goals and providing 21 assists - and has won 12 trophies, including the Champions League in 2020. What has particularly caught Real Madrid's attention about him is his physical prowess, a quality that is becoming more and more crucial in elite football.

The Ghana-born star will be lured to Spain as part of Real Madrid's recent recruitment strategy. Los Merengues intend to swoop for Davies when he has 12 months left on his contract, as was the case with previous signings like Toni Kroos and Eden Hazard, enabling club president Florentino Pérez to negotiate a cut-rate fee for a player who would currently cost at least €100m.
