Real Madrid's basketball team is facing a challenging season under coach Chus Mateo, struggling in most competitions. In the Endesa League, despite leading due to the decline of other top teams, their overall performance has been subpar. The Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup were both lost, and in the Euroleague, the team is currently battling to secure a spot in the playoffs through the play-in.

As a result, Real Madrid is already making moves to strengthen their squad, which is in urgent need of reinforcements for the next season. One of the first potential signings is David Kramer, a reliable three-point shooter from Tenerife. Another candidate is Theo Maledon from ASVEL, but the most notable target is Carsen Edwards from Bayern Munich. Edwards, a former NBA player with the Boston Celtics, is having an impressive season, averaging nearly 20 points in the Euroleague. His addition could bring much-needed scoring ability, especially with his skills in dribbling and shooting from the outside.

To address their biggest weakness, Real Madrid is planning to add several dependable three-point shooters for next season, aiming to improve their offensive game and overall performance in the coming campaign.
