Real Madrid are aiming to turn Saturday’s Under-20 Intercontinental Cup clash at the Santiago Bernabéu into a historic occasion, with the club targeting a record attendance for a youth match.

Real Madrid will face Santiago Wanderers, the winners of the Under-20 Copa Libertadores, after earning their place in the competition as UEFA Youth League champions. The match will kick off at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, with the club working to attract more than 20,000 fans to the Bernabéu.

To achieve that goal, Real Madrid have put several measures in place, including free entry for members, extensive promotion across the club’s platforms and affordable ticket prices. The club is also encouraging academy players who are available to attend the match and help create a special atmosphere.

The effort extends to the pitch as well. Real Madrid have assembled a strong squad of Under-20 players, with 23 names included in the squad. The group consists of 20 members of last season’s Youth League-winning team, along with three new signings.

Javi Navarro, Fortea, Joan Martínez, Cestero, Sergio Martínez, Aguado, Ciria and Yáñez are among the players expected to feature as Real Madrid look to complete their academy’s successful European campaign by lifting the Under-20 Intercontinental Cup.

With the Bernabéu hosting a youth match at an unusual time and the club pushing for a major turnout, Real Madrid are hoping Saturday becomes a memorable day for the academy and its supporters.
