Refereeing controversies continue to dominate discussions surrounding Real Madrid. The club has voiced frustration over the decisions made by match officials and the overall conduct of refereeing staff. Tensions escalated after the recent rescheduled match against Valencia at Mestalla, where referee Soto Grado issued a red card to Vinicius Jr. for pushing goalkeeper Dimitrievski following a provocation from the Macedonian. According to Relevo, Real Madrid's management is traveling to Saudi Arabia not only with the goal of winning the Spanish Super Cup or expanding the club’s global brand, but also with the intention of confronting the RFEF and demanding explanations.

Real Madrid is simply seeking the fair application of rules and maintaining the integrity of the competition, a stance that becomes harder to uphold in light of the Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor situation. The High Council of Sports granted Barcelona a provisional precautionary measure, allowing the two players to participate in the Spanish Super Cup, a decision that has sparked protests from Athletic Club. "It’s absurd. We’re asked to make efforts to grow and travel to a country far from our fans, only to witness this charade," remarked Jon Uriarte, president of Athletic Bilbao.

Real Madrid’s grievances extend beyond on-field decisions. The club has plenty of reasons to express dissatisfaction with its treatment in La Liga, not only in terms of refereeing but also with broader concerns about the integrity of the competition.
