Although Real Madrid officially has just one preseason friendly lined up, against Austrian side WSG Tirol, Xabi Alonso’s squad will also take part in a behind-closed-doors training match. The opponent? CD Leganés, a team already well into their preseason campaign.
As reported by Cadena COPE journalist Arancha Rodríguez, Los Blancos will face Leganés in a training match this Friday, August 8. The game won’t be broadcast, as the club considers it a routine training session rather than an official friendly. The objective is to build match sharpness ahead of the upcoming season. Leganés arrives well-prepared, having played six summer matches so far, recording two wins, three draws, and just one defeat.
