Real Madrid are taking steps to address noise issues from concerts at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. According to COPE, the club is planning to enhance the soundproofing of the stadium to minimize disruptions for nearby residents.
The club plans to host 10-12 events per year at the venue and, to achieve this, they will close off the Skywalk area to prevent sound from escaping. Real Madrid will invest €10 million in this project, which will also include additional works ahead of the upcoming NFL match.
"Real Madrid will install sound-absorbing materials in various parts of the stadium," COPE reported. The vomitories, which allow sound to leak from the back, will also be modified.
These adjustments aim to better contain sound within the stadium, making the Bernabéu a more suitable and efficient venue for concerts.
