Real Madrid has already secured the signings of guards Pierria Henry and Thomas Heurtel for the next season and is also expected to officially add center Vincent Poirier this week.
As Encestando first reported and Eurohoops can confirm, Real Madrid has reached an agreement with Baskonia for Henry’s acquisition. The American guard averaged 10.5 points, 7.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 34 games of the EuroLeague regular season. Baskonia will receive a solid buy out for the US guard who will move to the Spanish capital after the end of the 2020-21 season.
While Real Madrid is also signing Heurtel once the veteran EuroLeague playmaker completes the season in the French Jeep Elite with ASVEL Villeurbanne, his fellow French player Poirier will be arriving much sooner, signing a contract for this season plus three more on Monday (12/4).
