Real Madrid continues to work on finalizing its roster ahead of the new season, and fresh reports suggest a new name is being considered. According to Encestando, the club is evaluating the possible signing of Anthony Gill, a power forward recently released by the Washington Wizards who is currently exploring offers from EuroLeague teams.

Despite already having Mario Hezonja, arguably the top option in the power forward role, the club wants to reinforce the position further, and Gill has emerged as a strong candidate. At 32 years old, the American brings versatility, with the ability to play both as a '4' and a '5', along with a high shooting efficiency and valuable experience in FIBA basketball, which would ease his adaptation.

Gill is known for contributing on both ends of the court. While not necessarily a creator, he excels as a finisher, something Real Madrid lacked last season, especially in half-court execution. With Sergio Scariolo now leading the team, a shift in style is expected, and Gill could prove to be a valuable addition within that new framework.
