Real Madrid will face the longest season in their history, in which they will participate in a record number of tournaments. And on December 18, they will play the final of the newly created Intercontinental Cup, but the venue will still be announced by FIFA.

In summary, Real Madrid will play in seven competitions next season: League, Copa del Rey, Champions League, Spanish Super Cup, European Super Cup, Club World Cup and Intercontinental Cup. It will be a campaign of exactly 11 months, or 334 days, in which the white club will fight for each title at stake, as demanded by its legacy and a squad that is emerging as the best in the world with the arrival of Kylian Mbappé.

The Intercontinental Cup is the new tournament established by FIFA to replace the Club World Cup that was played in the winter  and will now be held in the summer with 32 teams. In this competition, Real Madrid will only play the final against a team from one of FIFA's member confederations, which means that, unlike previous editions, the European champion will only play one decisive match.
