Real Madrid are world champions for the ninth time in their illustrious history after defeating Mexican side Pachuca 3-0 in the Intercontinental Cup final at Lusail Stadium in Qatar. Carlo Ancelotti, who has become the most successful coach in the club's history, guided his team to victory with key contributions from star players. Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring in the 37th minute after a brilliant assist from Vini Jr. In the second half, Rodrygo doubled Madrid's lead with a stunning right-footed strike from the edge of the box. Vini Jr., recently crowned The Best FIFA Men’s Player, sealed the win with a penalty in the 84th minute. This triumph marks Real Madrid's second trophy of the season, following their European Super Cup victory.
