Kenan Yildiz, one of Europe’s brightest young talents, has become Juventus’ main attacking reference and a symbol of Turkey’s new football generation alongside Arda Güler. His impressive rise in Serie A and standout performances against Real Madrid in the Champions League and at the last Club World Cup have drawn attention from the Bernabéu.
Italian intermediary Giovanni Branchini confirmed that Xabi Alonso has made Yildiz a top target. “Xabi wants Yildiz at Real Madrid. He’s ready to let anyone go except Mbappé to make room for him. Juventus, however, is asking for around €100 million,” he revealed to Tuttomercato.
The Real Madrid coach knows Yildiz well. They first crossed paths at Bayern Munich when Alonso was still a player and Yildiz was rising through the youth ranks. That early connection and the mutual respect they share could play a decisive role in any potential transfer.
Before facing Juventus, Alonso had already praised the Turkish forward: “They have some excellent players, and Yildiz is one of them. His development has been outstanding. I’ve known him since our time at Bayern, and it makes me proud to see how far he’s come.”
For his part, Yildiz has openly expressed his admiration for Real Madrid. “Real Madrid is an incredible club. Every child dreams of playing at the Bernabéu. It’s one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world. Facing them in the Champions League was a dream come true,” he recently said.
Juventus hopes to build its future project around Yildiz but is aware that his talent is attracting the attention of Europe’s top clubs. In Turin, they know that if Real Madrid decides to move for him, negotiations will begin at a minimum of €100 million.
