This week, the Santiago Bernabéu stadium hosted an event unlike the recent concerts that have faced criticism. The forum, titled "Rethink the Game", was sponsored by Real Madrid and BMW Spain, focusing on discussions about the future of the planet.

The event brought together influential voices from various disciplines, emphasizing the importance of innovation, reflection, and forward-thinking. BMW Spain’s executive president, Manuel Terroba, and Real Madrid's director of external relations, Emilio Butragueño, represented their respective institutions.

Speakers of high caliber participated, including Manuel Maqueda, a Harvard professor specializing in Applied Circular Economy and Regenerative Economy; Carlos Moreno, an international expert in smart cities; and Ousman Umar, founder of the NGO NASCO Feeding Minds. Their talks centered on two Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Good Health and Well-being and Sustainable Cities and Communities. Discussions ranged from the integration of sport and physical activity to enhance well-being, to promoting circular economy initiatives in urban and rural environments.

"Rethink the Game" is intended to become an annual event, reinforcing the collaboration between Real Madrid and BMW, which is now in its second year.
